Please join me in congratulating these outstanding TCU Supply Chain Management students for being selected as the Fall 2022 semester “Best in Class” winners of the Supply Chain Innovation project.
This semester, our classes saw a great group of presentations from their student peers. Timely topics including the impacts of the Russia/Ukraine war, the challenges manufacturers are facing with the changing social and political climate in China and the challenges electric vehicle manufacturers are facing with the production of batteries. This semester, student peers and I selected these 3 outstanding presentations for your review. These include:
I Got the Power? – An overview on the supply chain of lithium batteries and the challenges manufacturers are facing getting access to the necessary raw materials while at the same time trying to manage unprecedented demand growth. Presented by Philip Abraham III, Luke Brunell, Chris Johnson and Ryan Sbordon.
Blockchain Technology – An introduction of “what is” Blockchain and an overview of the potential significant impacts that Blockchain Technology can have for the transparency and efficiency of the global supply chain. Presented by Cameron Dowlatshahi, Rigo Gonzalez, Luke Pliska and Ethan Yokum.
Top Challenges Supply Chain Managers will face in 2022 – A presentation on the the key issues that Supply Chain Managers should focus their attention towards as we enter 2022. Presented by Zach Alonzo, Ian Goehring, Paige Hesseltine and Patrick Powell.
